What is the refund policy?
All payments are final, including the $199 deposit.
Where do I stay?
We hold rooms at Occidental Bangtao, two minutes walking distance from the academy, and you can add one at checkout. A shared room is $110 per person per night, or A$159, and a studio is $120 per night, or A$173, for the 7 nights of November 21 to 28. Only 4 shared rooms are left and the studios have sold out. You are also welcome to book your own place anywhere in Phuket.
What is the difference between the rooms?
A shared room is a twin share, so you have a roommate and we match you with another athlete unless you bring your own. A studio is yours alone. Only 4 shared rooms are left and the studios have sold out.
When do I need to arrive?
On or before Saturday November 21st, 2026. The first session is an introductory open mat that evening from 6pm. If you are arriving later, please reach out to us via email so we can accommodate you.
When does it end?
The last sessions are on Friday November 27th, finishing at 8pm. Fly home on November 28th or stay on the island as long as you want.
What is the boat trip?
Tuesday November 24th is a day off. We are organizing a group boat trip for anyone who would like to join us. Paid separately.
Do I need to be experienced?
No. Sessions are structured so white belts and black belts both get something out of them, and rounds are matched by level and size.
What is the all access pass?
Your camp fee includes Bangtao's regular classes for the week, so you can train MMA and Muay Thai around the jiu jitsu sessions at no extra cost.
Which currency am I charged in?
The camp is $999 USD or A$1,429, and rooms are priced in both as well. Stripe shows you the amount before you confirm, and your bank converts it if you hold a different currency.
Do I get footage from the week?
Yes. We have a videographer on site and the professional videos from the camp are shared with the whole group afterwards.
How does the deposit work?
$199 USD, or A$289, holds your spot in the camp. It is non refundable and it comes off your total, so you pay the balance and choose your room before the camp. Email us once you have paid and we will sort the rest.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Klarna is available at checkout, so you can split the cost instead of paying it all at once. If you do not see it, please email us and we will work to accommodate you.
